A TRADITIONAL PUB IN A VILLAGE OF BREATHTAKING BEAUTY
Whether it’s sitting next to a roaring log fire in winter or lazing on the sunny terrace in summer, Steve and Sue Richardson look forward to welcoming you to this charming pub in the heart of the Cotswolds. Traditional Arkells ales and fine wines accompany delicious food, using the finest local ingredients including organic pork from a neighbouring farm.
We pride ourselves on using fresh ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible. Daily specials include dishes like organic Belly of Pork from Eastleach Downs Farm, Breast of Guinea Fowl in a white wine and cream sauce and the famous Vic Beefburger. We always have roasts on Sunday and lighter meals are available at lunchtime.
ORGANIC PORK, SUNDAY ROASTS OR A FRESH BAGUETTE
THURSDAY IS STEAK NIGHT
A juicy char-grilled steak , thick-cut chips -- and a bottle of wine. Just £20 for 2.
WONDERFUL WALKS
Look round the village or hike cross-country; you’ll be spoilt for choice.
CASK ALES AND FINE WINES AT REASONABLE PRICES
We’re still a proper pub with a welcoming bar that offers 2 cask ales, including Arkells 3B. We have a wide range of draught lagers and ciders as well as Guinness on tap. Our wine list offers a selection of fine vintages from the old and new worlds.
We’re off the beaten track – but not so far off it that we’re difficult to find. Tucked into the south-eastern corner of Gloucestershire, we’re within easy reach of Swindon, Cheltenham and Oxford.
Just click on the map, Eastleach is closer than you think.
